Yevadu Movie Review

కారణాలు ఏవైతేనేం ... ఎప్పుడో రావాల్సిన ఎవడు .. మొత్తానికి సంక్రాంతి గిత్త లా ముస్తాబయ్యి బరిలోకి దిగింది . తండ్రి లాగే మాస్ ప్రేక్షకులని ఆకట్టుకున్న 'చిరు'త'నయుడు రామ్ చరణ్ కిది ఏడో  సినిమా . ఈ 'ఏడు' పవన్ ఫాన్స్ కి 'ఖుషి'నిచ్చింది,   మహేష్ కి ఒక్కడయ్యింది  .. ఎన్టీఆర్ ని సింహాద్రి ని చేసింది. మరి చరణ్ ని ఏం  చేసిందో చూద్దాం . 

కథ ( సినిమా చూడకుండా చదివేస్తే ఎలా అని  కంగారు పడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు )

సత్య ( అల్లు అర్జున్) .. దీప్తి (కాజల్) ప్రేమించుకుంటారు . దీప్తి సినిమా హీరోయిన్ లా అందం గా ఉంటుంది కాబట్టి వీరుభాయి(రాహుల్ దేవ్) అనే విలన్  ఓ కన్నేస్తాడు . ఈ సినిమాలో అల్లు వారబ్బాయి హీరో కాదు కాబట్టి దీప్తి తో సహా అతన్నిపొడిచేస్తారు . కాని అనూహ్యంగా కోన ఊపిరి తో ఉన్న అర్జున్ సినిమాటిక్ గా ( ప్లాస్టిక్ సర్జరీ) సహాయం తో  రామ్ (రాంచరణ్ ) లా మారతాడు . 

ఇక త్వరత్వరగా అతని పగ ఎలా తీర్చున్నాడు ... అలాగే తనకి అతికించిన చరణ్ అనే ఇంకో కుర్రాడి గతం తాలూకు వ్యవహారాలని ఎలా చక్కదిద్దాడో తెలియాలంటే 'ఎవడు' చూడాల్సిందే . 

మాస్ అంటే చరణ్ .. చరణ్ అంటే మాస్ 

రచ్చ .. నాయక లాంటి సాదా సీదా కథల్ని హిట్లు గా మలిచాడు రామ్ చరణ్ . పాటల్లో కళ్ళు చెదిరే స్టెప్పులు ... గుండాల్ని చితకొట్టే ఫైట్లు .. చరణ్ కి 'జీన్స్' తో పెట్టిన విద్య . తన పేరుని రెండు ముక్కలుగా చేసిన రెండు పాత్రల్లో చెర్రీ ఒక మాస్ హీరో ఎలా చెయ్యాలో .. అంత  కంటే ఒక అడుగు ఇంకా ముందుకేసి సూపర్బ్ అనిపించుకున్నాడు . ఎప్పుడు ఒకేలాంటి కథలు కావాలనుకుంటే చరణ్ కి మగధీర వచ్చేది కాదు ... మాస్ సినిమాల్లో ఇంకొంచెం వైవిద్యం చూపించాలి  జుస్త్ ప్లాస్టిక్ సర్జరీ సరిపోదు . కొన్నిస్టెప్పులు చిరంజీవి లా చేసాడు జస్ట్ సరదాగా . బాబాయి పవన్ మీద అభిమానం చాటుకున్నాడు "చే గోవేరా" బుక్కు చదువుతూ .. ప్రియురాలితో గబ్బర్ సింగ్ చూస్తూ !!

బావ మరుదులు బావల బ్రతుకు కోరతారు .. అచ్చు మన అల్లు అర్జున్ లా 

ఎం చేస్తాం హీరో ఓరియెంటెడ్ సినిమాలు, కమల్ హాసన్ తనయ శృతి  కూడా పాటకి రెండు నిమషాలు అటు ఇటు మాత్రమె స్క్రీన్ మీద కనిపించింది . కానీ ఆమెకి ఇంకా ఓ మూడు పాటలు ఇస్తే బాగుంది అనిపిస్తుంది . చాలా రోజుల్లయ్యింది చూసి కాబోలు ... కాజల్ భలే ముద్దోచ్చింది . అమీ జాక్సన్ రాబోయే శంకర్ సినిమాలో సింగల్ హీరోయిన్ అంటే నమ్మడం కష్టం . బీచ్ సాంగ్ లో తన వంతు కృషి చేసింది . 

సాయికుమార్ కి మరి ఇంత పెద్ద సినిమా ఎందుకో ఎవరు ఇవ్వలేదు . రెగ్యులర్ విలన్ పాత్రే అయినా తన స్ధాయికి తగట్టుగా చేసి ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు . కోట వాడుకున్నోల్లకి వాడుకున్నంత . "పిల్లి గుడ్డిదయితే ఎలుక నిక్కరిప్పి డాన్సులు ఎసిందట " అలాగే క్లైమాక్స్ లో " చూస్కో పళ్ళ" అని ఆయన చెప్తే ఎవ్వరైనా నవ్వాల్సిందే . 

జయసుధ హుందాగా చేసింది . ఇప్పుడైతే నడియాని తీస్కోనే వారేమో !! బ్రహ్మానందం ఉండాలి కాబట్టి ఉండటమే . ఒక మాస్ సినిమాలో ట్రైలర్ లో పోస్టర్ లో .. ఆయన పేస్ కనపడాల్సిందే !!

 అరె నాకు అన్ని ముందే తెలిసిపోతున్నాయి !!!

ఈ సినిమా చూస్తున్నప్పుడు నాకేవో అతీత శక్తులు ఒచ్చెసాయి ... లేక పోతే హీరోయిన్ ఇలా రాగానే .. అప్పుడు కచ్చితంగా ఏ పాట రాబోతుందో ముందే కనిపెట్టేసా !! హీరోని విలన్ ఒక క్లిష్టమైన పరిస్థితి లో పడేసినప్పుడు హీరో ఎం చేస్తాడని అనుకున్నానో చరణ్ అదే చేసాడు ... భలే భలే !! విలన్ ఒచ్చి ఊరోల్లని బెదిరించినపుడు ముందు ఎవరు ఎదిరిస్తారో నాకు ముందే తెలుసు..  మీరు ఒకసారి పరీక్షించు కొండి .. 

ఎంత రొటీన్ గా ఉన్నా ... 

సినిమాలో రెండు కథలున్నాయి రెండు కొత్తవేం కాదు ... కాని వంశి పైడిపల్లి మాత్రం చాలా చకచక చెప్పేసాడు రెండు కథల్ని . మొదటి సగం లో ఎక్కడ సాగ దీకుండా హీరో పగ పూర్తిగా చల్లారిపోతుంది . ఈ సగం లో మెయిన్ హీరోయిన్ , విలన్ అసలు కనిపించరు.. సో ఇంకా ఏదో ఉండే ఉంటుంది అనే ఎదురుచూపులో ఇంటర్వెల్ బెల్ మోగింది . రెండో సగం లో న్యాయ పోరాటం . సాయికుమార్ , కోట, జయసుధ ... ముగ్గురు తలా ఒక చెయ్యి వేసారు . 

దేవిశ్రీప్రసాద్ ఇచ్చిన అన్ని పాటలు చూడటానికి బాగున్నాయి . నీ జతలొ నెనుండాలి ..ఇక నుంచి వన్ ఆఫ్ ది మొస్ట్ ఫావోరెట్ సాంగ్ నాకు

సరే పండక్కి ఏ సినిమా చూడాలి .. 

రోజు ఇంట్లో అదే ఫుడ్డు తినే నాలాంటోడు ఒకడు .. ఈ పండక్కి వెరైటీ గా ఏదన్న తిందామని ఓ 1Talian రెస్టారెంట్ కి వెళ్ళాడు .. మెనూ చూస్తె అన్ని కొత్త పేర్లు అలవాటు లేని తిండాయే .. నోటికొచ్చింది ఆర్డర్ చేసాడు .. కొత్త ఫుడ్డు కదా ....కొంచెమ్ కొత్తగా .. కొంచెం పిచ్చిగా అనిపించింది .. పైగా అసలు మసాలాలు లేవు .. ఏదో లా తినేసి అదే ఎలా ఉందొ కూడా అర్ధం కాకుండా ఇంటికొచ్చేసాడు .

 ఇంకా ఆకలేస్తుంది .. సో ఎం చేస్తాం రాత్రికి బిరియాని పాయింట్ కి వెళ్ళాడు . చాలా సార్లు అక్కడ బిరియాని తినేసినా ఎప్పటి లాగానే ఉన్నా ... ఆకలి ఎస్తుంది మరి సర్డుకోక తప్పలేదు . కడుపు నిండింది .. కాక పొతే మసాలాలు దంచికోట్టినట్టునారు కడుపులో కొంచెం మండింది . 

ఇంటి కొచ్చాక పడుకుంటే అనిపించింది .. ఈ పండగలు "ఎవడు" కనిపెట్టాడు రా బాబు అని 

ఫైనల్ గా .. 

మాస్ హీరో మంత్రం మరో సారి పని చేసే ఛాన్స్ ఉంది . పాటలు, చరణ్ +స్టార్ కాస్ట్ 'ఎవడు' హై లైట్స్ .   టైం పాస్ కోసం నాలాగే మీరు చూసెయ్యండి రెండు సినిమాలు !!

1 Nenokkadine Review

Time for Sankaranthi, the 1^ST festival of the year... and so is the time for the 1^st biggie of the year and it is aptly called as 1-Nenokkadine. Superstar Maheshbabu teams up with the Sukumar who just not follows the regular path and has made his signature films and created a niche for himself. Let’s see how the ‘1’ shaped out... a psychological thriller as many say.

Basic plot: Gowtham (Mahesh babu) is the rock star. While he earned lot of fame and craze, he is constantly searching for the killers of his parents. In the very first scene he chases the guy who killed his parents and kills him. But the video footage of the murder shows he is in an illusion that he is actually killing someone. Does he really have the brutal past? Did he killed or still searching the killers? He has to find the truth which the whole world treats as false. Sameera a journalist gives him the support in his search.

Gowtham turns Ghajini…

1- Nenokkadine surely might be a regular revenge story but the completely different narration and twisted characterization of the hero makes the difference. Almost an hour into the film, hero struggles to figure out what is truth and what is hallucination and whether he has to stick to the truth his inner self believed or go with the world which do not believed it.

Maheshbabu yet again gives the best shot as Gowtham. Mahesh has got the chiseled look for the first time. A Charming Rock star, a man seeking to avenge his parent’s death… and a guy trying hard to find his roots, He excels in each variation. All in all, he is actor first and Mahesh proves it again. And lastly Mahesh tries little to dance this time... But as we know those who are called superstars never danced.

Little prince Gowtham made an entry into this glitter world. He is cute and has got that signature running style of his dad.

Krithi Sanan makes the mark. She is beautiful and as in most Sukumars films has a role to play and not just for the songs. Time should tell, whether she goes places in the tinsel town.

Kelli Dorge for the first time I guess not used the helicopters. Nazar gets special role. Posani gives few smiles.  

Math’s Teacher Partially scores..!!

Tamil Director Bala shows his artists without the makeup in a very realistic manner. In a similar fashion, this teacher turned director Sukumar always creates his hero with a peculiar brain. 1 obviously has got a complex screenplay, and Sukumar surely confuses the audience a bit, but finally drives us home. There are lots of superbly executed scenes. The interval scene is the best of all. There is pinch of suspense and pinch of tragedy…. But comedy a big miss. Sukumar’s intellectual movies only clicked with audience if blended with entertainment. Aarya and 100% love are the examples and we know the fate of rest.

Other ingredients 

 Action sequences are crisp and great. Lorry crash in London, Steamer chase in Goa and the bike sequences are good to watch on screen. 2 Songs which are good on audio “Who are you” and “Aau tuzho moh karta” are beautiful on screen. Devi Sri Prasad and Sukumar first time fails on the Item song. DSP gives a different background score this time. Editing is crisp and Cinematography top notch.

Finally…

We many a times complain about being routine and sometimes seek variety. So ‘1’ is slightly different no doubt, but it should have been little more entertaining and gripping. Give ‘1’ a shot for Mahesh and for the twisted narration and for the technical values of the film.

DHOOM3 REVIEW

It’s been just 3 days .. And Dhoom 3 already has joined the elated 100 crores club and still Dhooming to break all the records so far happened in Indian cinema. Apart from sizzling babes and “unbelievable” stunts, Dhoom series USP is its protagonist and here it means the opposite, the villain of the movie. It started with John Abraham to Hrithik Roshan… And finally it had Mr. Perfectionist Aamir khan and that’s obviously the reason for Dhoom laughing loud at the Box office.

Dhoom has a story to tell…

Dhoom this time had little story to tell. Iqbal khan (Jackie Shroff) who runs Great Indian Circus in Chicago could not impress bankers with his best trick and thereby commits suicide. Iqbal’s son Sahir decides to pull down the Western bank of Chicago and begins to loot its branches bringing their stocks down.  Jai Dixit and Ali (Dhoom’s cop duo) has to do it in desi style to unveil the mystery of the greatest trick of Indian circus and thereby the robberies.

Aamir all its way…(Spoilers ahead)

With Aamir playing the lead, there should be something a twist in the script that at least gets his nod to the Dhoom which is otherwise more a style than substance. And the twist unfolds in between revealing that there are not one Aamir, but two, one Sahir and other hidden Samar, who is slightly challenged. All is well between the twins till Aliya(Katrina) joins the circus. Samar who fights for his identity and wants to be recognized by Aliya and no more over shadowed by his twin brother. Who better than Aamir can bring such a conflict so convincingly on screen? Of course Aamir has done many times the better roles previously but a small divergence in his role is hell of an act for his fans like us.

Katrina plays Aliya. In the year ruled by Deepika, Katrina has got this last chance to make her presence felt. Though she gets very few scenes, she captures the attention with the songs “Kamli” and “Malang Malang” . Unlike other Dhooms , this time she is only the actress and she might be lucky enough to be part of highest grosser.

Abhishek does his part just like other Dhooms. And Uday chopra who comes out of the den for Dhoom exclusively brings few laughs. Jackie shroffs and the Kid playing young Aamir are so effective.

Two sides of Dhoom…

Aamir’s BMW bike running on a rope… and Abhishek smashing Gunda’s and breaking walls with an auto... These kind of bombastic stunts in very few minutes into the film has given a very clear picture of what’s in store for us. Aamir’s bike even turns into Boat and goes up and down deep into the water and even flies in the sky. These kind of gravity defying stunts are first of its kind and even outlaws the direst stunts of some south Indian movies.

And on other side we had Aamir in the role of Samar... In those scenes where Samar writes his name on the glass and enjoys the few moments it stays there… And his thoughts when for the first time he befriends someone… And when he fights for the identity of Samar and his first date with Aliya… What not, Aamir infuses all the life into the Samar’s pain

In Total..

Surprisingly Vijay Krishna Acharya as director does a much better job when compared to his debut “Tashan” and incidentally he gave the dialogue and screenplay to Dhoom2. Sudeep Chatterjee’s cinematography is top notch and YashRaj films left no stone unturned to bring that richness to the film.

Nature defying stunts Or natural performance of Aamir, which side you incline to, makes you like or dislike this film. Dhoom definitely will not wholly disappoint thanks to Aamir and its grandness, but it does not has that “Wow” factor and it just might add a “Like” smiley on your face at the end.

Rating and collections

Dhoom “3” has got inbuilt rating and hopefully cross “3”00 barrier this time and lets wish Aamir gets his due at the box office just like his “3”Idiots.

Krishh3 Movie Review

This Diwali...It’s  Roshan's fireworks everywhere… as Krrish3, the 3^rd outing of Indian super hero comes to cinemas . Rakesh Roshan just steps up the quantity of VFX and budget for each sequel. Let me a share my point of view on Hrithik’s biggest film ever.

Plot: Krishh continues to protect mumbaikers whenever they are in trouble. Far away, a super genius and evil minded scientist Kaal(Vivek Oberoi) who is paralyzed continues to search for a matching DNA to get the bone marrow for his cure. He creates several mutants with the fusion of humans and animals in the process. On other hand he spreads contagious virus and later provide antidotes from his pharmaceuticals to raise money for his research. 

When Kaal targets India for the spread of the virus, it’s now on hands of Krishh and his father Rohit Mehra to stop the epidemic.

Actors:

This guy Hrithik who breathes only cinema has built 8-pack physique for this film. A dutiful husband Krishna and a genius scientist Rohit Mehra and a Super hero Krishh … Hrithik plays each of these roles in absolutely lovable way.  

Priyanka continues her role from the prequel. She makes her presence felt though it’s a very regular role. Kangana gets the much yummier part this time. She plays Kaaya.. A fusion of human and chameleon .. Who can transform herself to anyone .( inspired by X-Men Mystique) . Kangana makes best of it and she is fantastic in evil shades in first half and her transformation is believable.

Vivek Oberoi also has a surprise and he is very good till he is paralyzed and moving in a wheel chair.  We should blame the costume designer for his funny Halloween costume in the climax

Hollywood comes to India…

While all the mutants are heavily inspired by X-Men, and the Climax borrowed from Man of Steel , Krishh is largely inspired by Hollywood flicks. But still I liked the desi set up and loved to see this mutants wandering in Mumbai . And of course superb VFX shots made with 1/20^th or lesser budget of a Hollywood movie stands out.  Though it’s not innovative plot.. I don’t have much complaint on the story and screenplay either as that was least expected from an Indian Sci-fi film.

Drawbacks As I see..

Rakesh Roshan apart from the revenue from the movie eyes on some branding of Krishh3 accessories. So suddenly Krishh turns shaktimaan and starts giving away Krishh bands to kids around. It’s sad that such a poor costume chosen for Kaal in climax and that costs heavily towards the end. I could still hum all the songs from “Kaho naa pyar hai” and “koi mil gaya”, but none of Rajesh Roshan's tunes in this movie has the repeat value, though I liked the “Ye Dil” a romantic duet on Kangana. Climax of Krish3 hints about the 4^th installment . But this time , its better Daddy Roshan just stays back as producer.

Nevertheless …

Hrithiks brilliant Omnipresence and good support from all lead characters and fantabulous VFX rises above the flaws of the film. We have a history of pushing several ordinary films cross the 100 crore barrier. And So Roshans too deserve big time.

Ramayya Vasthavayya Telugu movie review

NT Ramayya has come to theaters for this Dusshera festival . Young tiger is always quickey and lucky to join the directors who delivered blockbusters. After delivering the blockbuster "Gabbar singh", Hareesh Shanker directed NTR for "Ramayya vastavayya" . Dil Raju produced the film.

Lets see what Hareesh has in cards for NTR..

Plot: Nandu, a smart and dynamic gets 'attracted' to "Akarsha"(Samantha). He quickly wins her heart and accompanies her to her sisters marriage in Coorg. By then Akarsha's father already has some life threat and continuous death warnings. 

Will Nandu able to save Akarsha's father and What's Nandu's mission forms the interval and the second half of the film. 

Cast 

NTR is king in dialogue delivery and best among his generation. and he just makes us realize with his "DVSK" introduction. He is one of the best dancers we have and he proves it in every song of the movie. He is good in comic timing ... and he manages all the scenes with no big comedians around. And he has track record in "Narakadam", he does that with no mercy in the later half. So NTR just blends what all he can do for Ramayya...

Samantha is getting hotter by each film and she holds that magnetism as "Akarsha" in 'Ramayya vastavayya', She sizzles in minis and her glamorous side is nicely utilized.Sruthi scores equally and looks very lovable as "Ammulu" . Though limited she gets the crucial part.

Mukesh Rishi plays key role in first half and Saikumar's brother Ravi shanker takes over in latest part. Ravishankers voice nicely adds that pinch of villainy. Rao Ramesh plays police and is perfect. kota plays senior villian and once again dies with heart attack.

Heroes friends  especially pradeep are very supportive. Popular Bamma  Rohini hattangidi has got some energetic role and she has some thing to say about NTR's grandfather NTR.

Both halves...

First half is pretty good. There is a good balance between Action and comedy and romantic scenes. Same time speed and Tempo are maintained. Inclusion of Ilayaraja songs in the romantic thread and mixing the sentiment with "Bamma's" thread everything gets in place. Though few could predict the interval twist , It is good enough to carry the feel while bringing in the popcorn into the theatre .

Second half gets into serious flashback. Sruthi Hassan makes it worth a wait while she is on screen. Though not very innovative.. Hareesh tried to pull it with style. But excessive violence over predictive story here plays spoilsport.Entertainment here takes back seat and forcibly pushes the audience into revenge drama in this half.

Crew

Harish Shanker delivers very decent first half. He creates lot of scenes to elevate NTR's dailogues. And of course dialogues in every scene are good. He concentrated more on action scenes and has given NTR, every sort of weapon in form of "Gadha", Axe and even "Nagali" . But not just the presentation, he should have brought in novel content. As he did not planned a hilarious film, lack of a new story is clearly observed.

Thaman's mass beats are as usual regular. But this time he has given two nice melodies "Jaabilli nuvve cheppamma" and "Eppudaina" .Both are pictured perfectly on screen. Movie looked colorful and should thank Chota K Naidu for that.

Good and Bad

All the positives of NTR for his fans.. and two beautiful heroines and very good first half are plus. Predictive and violent second half is minus.

Attarintiki daaredi review

కారణాలు ఏమైతే ఏంటి పండక్కి రావాల్సిన అల్లుడు ... పండగనే తనతో తీసుకొచ్చాడు . "అత్తారింటికి దారేది" అంటూ అమాయకంగా అడుగుతూ అసలు సినేమాల్లేక అల్లాడిపోతున్న తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులకి విందు భోజనం తో సహా వడ్డించాడు పవర్ స్టార్ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్  . ఆ విందు చేసిన వంటవాడు త్రివిక్రమ్ శ్రీనివాస్ అయితే రుచి ఎలా ఉంటుందో తెలీని వారుంటారా  .. !!

తినబోతూ రుచేందుకు అనుకునేవారు ..సరదాగా మెనూ ఏంటో తెలుసుకోండి . ఆల్రెడీ తినేసినవారు అరగటానికి కిళ్ళీ అనుకుంటూ రివ్యూ చదివేయండి 

అత్తారింటికి దారేదంటూ : నంద (బోమన్ ఇరాని) తనకి ఇష్టం లేని పెళ్లి చేస్కున్న కూతురు సు'నంద'(నదియా) ని కాల్చెంత పని చేస్తాడు . దాంతో కూతురు ఇల్లు విడిచి పోతుంది . పాతికేళ్ళు అయ్యాక తప్పు తెలుసుకుంటాడు . అత్త ని తీసుకు రాటానికి అల్లుడు (పవన్) ఇండియాకోస్తాడు . 

నక్క తోక తొక్కినా అల్లుడు కాబట్టే మేనత్తకి ఇద్దరు కూతుర్లు . సో ఇంకా కథేంటో మన ఆడియన్స్ అస్సలు చెప్పకర్లేదు . 

పవర్ ని ఫుల్లు గా వాడుకుంటే ఎలా ఉంటుందంటే ... 

పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ ఇంత వరకు ఒక సంపూర్ణమైన ఫ్యామిలీ స్టొరీ చెయ్యలేదు . అసలు చేస్తే ఎలా ఉంటుందో చూస్తే అర్ధమయ్యింది . త్రివిక్రమ్ రాసిన ప్రతి పంచ్ కి పది పది రెట్ల "పవర్" ఇచ్చాడు కళ్యాణ్ . ఫైట్స్ లో తన స్టైల్ ఏంటో చూపించాడు . ఇక మరదళ్ళతో రాఫ్ఫాడించాడు . పక్కన ఏ కమెడియన్ ఉన్నా సరే తన టైమింగ్ తో సిక్సులు పీకాడు . సినిమాలో ప్రణీత ఒక డైలాగు చెప్పుద్ది .." నీలో ఏదో పవర్ ఉందయ్యా .. ఎవరైనా పడిపోవాల్సిందే అని ... మరి ఇన్ని చేస్తే పడిపోరా .. 

సమంతా చిన్ని మరదలు ... పిచ్చి మరదలు కుడా . అబ్బా ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ లో స్కర్ట్ లు వేస్తె పెద్దగా ఆనలేదు . రెండో సగం లో చీరలో కోచ్చాకే తెలిసింది తను ఎం మాయ చేసిందో అని . ఇంకో స్టార్ తో హిట్టు కొత్తిన్ది. లక్కి గాల్ . 

ప్రణిత పెద్ద మరదలు ... సినిమా క్లైమాక్స్ లో ఓ కమెడియన్ పవన్ ని వాచ్ అడుగుతాడు . వెనుక నుంచి డైలాగు తీస్కోరా నీ గుడ్ టైం స్టార్ట్ అయ్యింది అని. సో పాపం ఈ పిల్లకి ఇప్పుడు నుంచి అన్ని కలిసోస్తాయేమో . పిల్ల మాత్రం బాపు గారి బొమ్మ లా బాగుంది . సీనియారిటీ లేక సెకండ్ హీరోయిన్ అయ్యింది . 

మర్చేపోయాం చోసారా.. అత్తారింటికి దారేది అని అడుగుతూ అత్తగారిని మర్చిపోయాం .. హుందా అంటే క్యారెక్టర్ లు ఇక నడియాని వెతుక్కుంటూ రావాల్సిందే . తక్కువ మాట్లాడిన ప్రతి మాటలో పొగరు .. ప్రతి చేతల్లో ఓ పద్ధతి కనిపిస్తాయి ఆమెలో . రావు రమేష్ మనకి మరో ప్రకాష్ రాజ్ అయిపోయాడు అంటే అంతగా జీవించేస్తున్నాడు . 

పవన్ సినిమాలన్ని వెనక్కి తిరిగి చూసుకుంటే పవన్ కి అతి దగ్గరగా ఉండే పాత్ర లో ఆలి ఉంటాడు .. అదే మరి స్నేహమంటే .. ఎంత పవన్ సినిమా అయినా బ్రాహ్మి ఫాన్స్ యూనివర్సల్ . భాస్కర్ అంటూ "ఆస్కార్" లెవెల్లో ఎంట్రీ ఇస్తాడు . ఎమ్మెస్ కూడా చాలా బాగా నవ్వించాడు . 

బోమన్ ఇరాని ముఖ్యమయిన తాతయ్య పాత్ర . కోట , రఘుబాబు, ఆహుతి అందరు బానే చేసారు 

త్రివిక్రమ్ తలుచుకుంటే ... 

త్రివిక్రమ్ కలం ఒక అక్షయ పాత్ర లాంటిదేమో .. ఎన్ని సినిమాలకి రాసినా ఇంకిపోదు . "ఇది హైదరాబాదు .. వెదర్ చాలా బ్యాడు .. ఇక మైసమ్మ్ తల్లి పెద్ద గాడ్ " లాంటి ప్రాస ఉన్న డైలాగులు  ఓ పక్క .. " రేయి నువ్వు చెస్సులొ  కింగు లాంటోడివి . ఒక్క అడుగే వెయ్యగలవ్ .. కాని ఇంట దైర్యం ఏంట్రా .. నీ పక్కన ఉన్న మంత్రిని చూస్కునే గా .. అలాంటొడిని ఒక్కడ్ని పంపు" లాంటి ఆలోచింప చేసే డైలాగులు .. "బాగుండడం అంటే బాగా ఉండటం కాదు .. నలుగురితో ఉండడం నవ్వుతూ ఉండటం " అబ్బో ఇక రాస్తే తెల్లరుద్ది కాని సినిమా చూడాలి ఓ రెండు మూడు సార్లు . రాజమౌళి ఆల్రెడీ అన్నాడు " త్రివిక్రమ్ సుకుమార్లు .. మనసు పెట్టి సినిమా తీస్తే నా కంటే పెద్ద బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ లు ఇస్తారని " సో ఈ సారి కొంచెం ఎక్కువ మనసే పెట్టాడు త్రివిక్రమ్ . థాంక్స్ త్రివిక్రమ్ గారు . 

దేవి "సిరి" 

పాటలన్ని  వినడానికి ఎంత బాగున్నాయో .. చూసేందుకు అంట రెట్టింపు బాగున్నాయి .. "ఆరడుగుల బుల్లెట్టు " బ్యాక్ గ్రౌన్డ్ " మోత మోగించింది . "its time to party " లో ఖుషి లేడి ముంతాజ్ ఇప్పటి హాట్ ఐటెం హంసానందిని జిగేల్ మన్నారు . బాపు బొమ్మ గా ప్రణిత కి మంచి పాట  దొరికింది . "నిన్ను చూడగానే" ఆసాంతం నవ్విస్తూ హైలైట్ సాంగ్ అయ్యింది . " కాటం రాయుడా " ఫాన్స్ కోసం . 

 కాకపొతే త్రివిక్రమ్ కి కొంచెం తిక్క కూడా ఉంది కదా .. అది బ్రహ్మానందం సీన్స్ లో కొంచెం ఎక్కువై రవ్వంత నస పెట్టింది . ఒక పావుగంట లేపెయ్యోచ్చు అక్కడ . 

 విందు భోజనం అంటే ఇలాగే ఉండాలి .

పెద్ద సినిమా పెద్ద సినిమా అంటే ఏంటో కొన్నాళ్ళు రుచి చూడక పోయేసరికి ఇవ్వాళే తెలిసొచ్చింది . త్రివిక్రమ్ పంచుల సత్తా ... పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ లాంటి పందెం గిత్తా కలిస్తే ప్రతి రికార్డుని తిరగ రాస్తుంది ఈ "అత్తా " . కాకపొతే పైరసీ .. ప్రాంత ద్వేషాలకి అతీతం గా మనం సినిమాని చూడాలి .

Zanjeer Toofan movie review

“Zanjeer” a remake of Amitab Bachchan’s classic marks the Bollywood debut of Mega Power star Ramcharan. It’s of course pressure in many folds, considering the young star holding the tag “Vijay Khanna” as it’s copy rights are only with Big B.  “Zanjeer” is simultaneously made as “Thoofan” to cater his Telugu fans. Apoorva Lakhia directed the film .

Lets get into little detail…

Story : Pretty simple.. ACP Vijay Khanna is transferred 22 times so far for his sincerity and upright behaviour with criminals. Now he comes to Mumbai. He fights against Oil Mafia and tiff with Rudrapratap Teja(Prakash Raj) .

Actors:

This is the year where a son-in-law of super star, Dhanush gave solid knock at Bollywood box office with Ranjaana and now it is turn of another son of a Megastar to deliver back with same intensity. Ramcharan sincerely gives a superb performance of sincere and diligent cop. He is always good in serious roles and he proved it again. He has created his own mark in one-liners. A perfect role for a debut.

So Priyanka is the only first,second and third choice for Big B's remakes. Role of “Mala” does not much suit Priyanka’s calibre. Her hair stylist deserves to be arrested by ACP VijayKhanna. Otherwise she is just ok and liked her only in songs. 

Srihari plays SherKhan, ( the same name in Magadheera). Seems that poses a problem.. Srihari is still in same dailogue modulation as in Magadheera.. and thus over-emotes in simple scenes.

There is a dialogue in movie “Older the man, stronger he gets” it is of course double intended one..said by Prakash Raj to his Mona darling… But that’s correct with Prakash Raj… he always entertains us. Though he has played the role of don “N” of times, He could deliver it for “N+1” th time.

Mahie Gill sizzles as Mona darling. She has few funny double intended liners with PR…. Tanikella bharani pitches in so well as journalist.

Crisply remade….

Toofan or Zanjeer tells the story very crisply… wastes just a reel at max. From the scene where he enters the screen with his dad Chiranjeevi’s poster on background and till the moment, Vijay curbs the oil Mafia, there is no look back. Few misplaced Songs and Priyanka act as few Tollgates in this highway.

Dailogues for Telugu version are very good. Run time of movie is kept short. As such story has no twists, there is no need for stretching it any further.

Nativity and Novelty is a miss..!!

For Telugu audience, nativity is obviously a big miss. Though there is presence of few Telugu actors, still the feel is missing. May be they would replaced a constable with a Telugu comedian to induce more comedy.

Tollywood audience have seen lot of bollywood babes in south movies… but in their own style. And that native style factor is missing for Priyanka. Songs should have been little better and background score is a big flop.

There are lot of cop stories so far and this one offers nothing new.

Finally…

Zanjeer/Toofan is a very good bollywood debut for Ramcharan as angry young man.

Toofan came as rescue at this juncture where no biggies being released due to current political scenario.But again same unrest in the state might dampen the result.

Zanjeer as Zanjeer might have been better than Thoofan, With the nativity factor missing.  Thoofan seems to be another Rakthacharitra with Ramcharan. With few expectations, Toofan makes just an ok watch.
