After the Demonetization by Modi Government, Movies are getting postponed.. but Nikhil's Ekkadiki potaavu chinnavaada #EPC dared to release this week.. With huge number of Ghost stories churning out almost every alternative week.. lets see what difference it has...

Basic Plot : Arjun was once cheated by his girl friend Ayesha as he waits at the registrar office for the marriage... Now Go Four years later .. he finally likes other girl "Amala".. but she too leaves him all of sudden.. Is it a co-incidence?.. fate? or something Super Natural!!??.. you have watch this on screen..


Nikhil proved once again that he has great pinch at story selection... He shows lot of variance between story now and before 4 years.. He has evolved lot as actor..

Girls have good amount of screen space and impact in this movie... 
Hebah Patel takes care of the glamour department.. Nanditha Swetha is surprise element and scores big with great performance.. She is the crux of the movie and she delivers it in style.. Avika Gor is so convincing and leaves impact in short role...

Vennala kishore excels again.. and so are heroes friends and pradeep.. Rajamouli's Baahubali and Pawan kalyan references are sprinkled all over..

A Different Ghost Story...
Frankly I don't like ghost stories.. but this is more a thriller and stands apart from regular stuff where a stupid flashback and a ghost haunting the old mansion.. 

The director VI Anand should be appreciated for bringing the difference.. here the audience connect with the ghost so much and they feel that Ghost should stay back.. There are no scary faces at all but the thrilling nature is maintained.. Story is developed so nicely using the names of the girls and connecting them without confusion.. And a pure inherent love story ..

Liked the locales of Kerala and "Chirunaama" Song and the background score in other departments..

Janatha Garage Movie Review

With Biggies disappointing this Summer.. All eyes are now on one of the most awaiting movies this year “Janatha Garage” Both NTR and the director Koratala Siva gave two back to back hits.. So expectations are sky high on this JG where Malayalam superstar Mohanlal played a prominent role.

Just the Plot : Satyam(Mohanlal) comes to city from a small village to open a mechanic shop “Janatha Garage”. He realizes the need for support for people and he and his loyal will stand against all ills of society.. Now whats the connection between the Environmental student Anand(NTR) and his journey towards the Janatha Garage forms the crux of the movie.

NTR has ripened as real actor.. It is very surprising transformation from his last two movies Temper and Naannaku Prematho.. he is not asking his directors to have forcible commercial elements .. but is more inclined to story based concept movies.. It makes him closer to all sections of audiences very much. He has given subtle act and adds a completely different role of environment student to his portfolio and stands tall beside National awardee Mohanlal himself.

Mohanlal.. we will realize why he is such a great actor.. because he never even acts or seems like acting.. he just lives on the screen.. He is not loud and plays the prominent role with no noise and you see him as only “satyam” on screen.

Samantha is cute as usual but is only limited to first half. Nithya menon surprisingly gets better portion.. but all the glamour is snatched by Kajal in her item number.. Errrr… sorry Special appearance in “Pakka Local”

Devayani, SaiKumar, Brahmaji, Ajay, Benarjee, Suresh, Sitara, Sachin Kelkar and Unni Mukundan all are very good in the movie .

Siva Koratala balances the Social message with the Commercial aspects yet again after Srimanthudu.. He conveys the responsibility towards the nature via NTR and he delivers the message of helping the fellow human being in need via Mohanlal’s character. He then brings both the actors together so smoothly and balances their act very effectively on screen.. A lot of scenes portray his writing skills like Rajeev kanakalas government office episode, family re-uniting episode and few scenes on Saikumar.

DSP songs are good on screen with effective lyrics from Ramajogayya sastri garu, be it “Pranaamam” to nature or chilling “Rock on Bro” or Jai ho Janatha.. or Massy “Pakka Local”.

Only drawback is.. missing entertainment in terms of loud comedy which is playing major part in lot of hit movies..

Koratala consistently maintains single tone and do not give chance to that hair raising moments or punch dialogues. Janatha Garage strictly sticks to its concept and Action episodes are nicely placed in between.

So Don’t expect the loud entertainment and do watch Janatha Garage for it being honest and good film .

"నువ్వే కావాలి ".. "ఆనంద్"  "వెన్నెల".. మొదలుకొని మొన్నటి "స్వామీ రా రా ".. "కార్తికేయ" .. "అలా మొదలైంది " "ప్రేమ కథ చిత్రం " "క్షణం" ఇలా ఎన్నో చిన్న గా మొదలైన సినిమాలు పెద్ద విజయాలు సాధించాయి .. వీటన్నింటిలో ఓ కామన్ విషయం ఏమిటంటే .. " ఈ సినిమాని కూడా థియేటర్లో ఎం చూస్తాం లే " అన్న ఆలోచన నుంచి  "ఈ సినిమా హాళ్ళో చూడాల్సిందే " అంటూ మానని ముందుకు తోసిన సినిమాలే .. ఇప్పుడు "పెళ్లిచూపులు" అచ్ఛం అలాంటి ఆణిముత్యమే 

సింపుల్ స్టోరీ : ఓ తప్పు అడ్రస్ ద్వారా జరిగిన పెళ్లి చూపులు .. ఆ అబ్బాయి .. అమ్మాయి జీవితాలని ఎంత అందంగా మలుపు తిప్పాయో అనే కాన్సెప్ట్ "పెళ్లిచూపులు"

దూద్ కాశీ అబ్బాయి .. దుమ్ము రేపాడు .. 

"ఎవడే సుబ్రహ్మణ్యం" లో రిషి గా మెప్పించిన రిషి అలియాస్ విజయ్ దేవరకొండ .. ఇంజనీరింగ్ పూర్తి చేసి అయోమయం లో ఉన్న సగటు యువకుడి నుంచి తన అభిరుచి వైపు అడుగులు వేసి విన్నర్ గా నిలిచిన "ప్రశాంత్" పాత్ర లో ఒదిగిపోయాడు .. ఇంతకు ముందు వేసిన దూద్ కాశీ పాత్ర ప్రేక్షకులకి తొందరగా రిజిస్టర్ అవ్వటానికి ఉపయోగపడింది .. ఇలాంటి విభిన్న సినిమాలని ఎంచుకుంటూ పొతే "నాని"  అంతటి వాడయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంది .. 

"రీతువర్మ" తిను కూడా చూడగానే కొంచెం ఆనంద్ లో  "కమలిని" గుర్తొస్తుంది .. అదే తరహా స్వతంత్ర భావాలున్న పాత్ర "ఛైత్ర"గా అందం అభినయం తో ఆకట్టుకుంది  .. 

ఇక సర్ప్రైస్ చేసింది మాత్రం "నా శావు నే చస్తా .. నీకెందుకు " అంటూ ట్విట్టర్ ట్రెండ్ అయిపోతున్న కొత్త డైలాగు చెప్పిన "కౌశిక్" పాత్రలో ఇరగదీసిన ప్రియదర్శి అనే హైదెరాబాదీ కుర్రాడిది .. మీరు గమనిస్తే ఆ పైన మనం చెప్పుకున్న సినిమాలు కొందరు కమెడియన్స్ కి సూపర్ లైఫ్ ఇచ్చాయి ( వెన్నెల కిషోర్ , తాగుబోతు రమేష్ , సప్తగిరి )

మిగతా పాత్రల్లో కొన్నింటిని ఇదే తరహా సినిమాల్లో మనం చూసాం .. లైక్ అనీష్ కురువిల్లా , హీరో తండ్రి, హీరోయిన్ డాడీ .. 

నా చావు నే చస్తా నీకుందుకు .. 

ఇప్పుడే కాలేజీ నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చిన వారైనా .. IT జాబుల్లో పొడిచేసే వారైనా .. ఎపుడో ఒకప్పుడు .. మన హీరో బ్యాచ్ లా " ఎం చేస్తున్నావ్ " అనే ఓ చెత్త క్వశ్చన్ face చేసే ఉంటారు .. ఆ ప్రశ్నకి ఓ మాంచి సమాధానం ఇచ్చింది "పెళ్లిచూపులు" .... 

అలాగే తరుణ్ భాస్కర్ అభిరుచి-కృషి తోడైతే ఆకాశమే హద్దు అనే సందేశాన్ని .. ఎక్కడా బోర్ కొట్టకుండా బోలెడన్ని గమ్మత్తైన సన్నివేశాలతో ( కాల్ సెంటర్ .. ప్రాంక్ వీడియోస్ .. కుకింగ్ .. ) అంతర్లీనంగా ప్రేమ కథని చక్కగా చెప్పి మొదటి ప్రయత్నంలో శభాష్ అనిపించుకున్నాడు . వివేక్ సాగర్ అందించిన సంగీతం .. DOP నగేష్ బన్నెల్ .. అలాగే క్రిస్ప్ గా ఎడిట్ చేసిన రవితేజ గిరజాల .. అందరూ తమ వంతు సాయం చేశారు

Gentleman Movie Review

"Nani" is on full swing for both commercial success and great acclaim for his acting skills.. And he teamed up with his mentor Mohan Krishna Indraganti who directed his debut "Asta Chemma".. Sridevi movies banner which delivered all time classics like "Aditya 369" produced this film.

Plot: The two heroines of the movie "Aishwarya" and "Catherine" meet in the plane and they share their individual love stories. "Nani" is the hero in both of them..  So now the movies latter half has to say.. Whether there are two Nani's or one Nani.. and whether he is a "Gentleman" or a "Villain"??

"Nani" has already proved himself as natural star. He is carefully choosing different movies one after another. I don't say this is his best... but He has done good job in two different shades.

Both the girls Surabhi and Niveditha are given good roles. Surabhi has got nice love track while Niveditha has done splendid job in latter half. Srinivas avasarala is convincing. Vennela Kishore brings few laughs.

Indraganti MohanKrishna and Manisharma..

Along with the production house, It is a good comeback for the director and music magician. Indraganti has good films like "Grahanam" and "Asta Chemma". I personally like his "Mayabazaar".   First half of the film is pleasant with two love stories . Kodaikanal episode stands out for the scenic nature that is captured greatly by PG Vinda. Second half turns into suspense mode where motivations of the hero are revealed at climax.  This half should have been more thrilling and Climax too was not stunning but just satisfactory.

Manisharma is back with the bang with two good duets.. "Chaligaali chooddu" will be instant favorite. Background score is of course top notch.

Finally..

A different attempt by Nani and Indraganti garu . A much tighter second half and more surprising climax would have made this "Gentleman" a "Great Thriller".. which now can be treated as just a good effort and a time pass flick.

అ ఆ ... తేట తెలుగులోని తోలి రెండు అక్షరాలాని ఓ సినిమా పేరు గా చేసినందుకు త్రివిక్రమ్ గారిని ముందుగా అభినందించాలి .. అలాగే ఆ పాత మధురం "మీనా " నేటి తరం ప్రేక్షకులకు అందించిన్నందుకు మరో సారి హాట్స్ అఫ్ చెప్పొచ్చు .. ఆనాటి కృష్ణ విజయనిర్మల చేసిన పాత్రలు నేటి తరం నితిన్ సమంతా లు ఎలా చేసారో ఓ నాలుగు మాటల్లో .. 

కథ : ధనవంతురాలు మహాలక్ష్మి(నదియ) కూతురు అనసూయ(సమంతా ) .. తల్లిదే మొత్తం పెత్తనం .. ఆమె లేని సమయం లో తండ్రి రామలింగం (నరేష్) కూతురిని వాళ్ళ మేనత్త ఇంటికి పంపిస్తాడు .. అక్కడ తన బావ(నితిన్) ని ప్రేమించి ఎలా మమ్మీ ని ఒప్పించి పెళ్లి చేసుకుంటుందో అనేదే అ ఆ 

నితిన్ .. ఇప్పటి హీరోల్లో టాప్ డైరెక్టర్స్ రాజమౌళి V.V.వినాయక్ , పూరి జగన్నాథ్ ,.. ఇప్పుడు త్రివిక్రమ్ ఇలా అందరితో చేసిన ఏకైక హీరో .. కొంచెం బెరుకు ఉండే నితిన్ నుండి మంచి కామెడి ని .. అలాగే క్లైమాక్స్ లో మంచి నటనని చక్కగా రాబట్టారు త్రివిక్రమ్ గారు .. ఇప్పుడు మనం పాత సినిమాలు ఎలాగో చూడట్లేదు కాబట్టి ఇది కృష్ణ గారు చేసిన పాత్ర అని ఎవరు పొల్చరు .. నితిన్ ఈ సినిమాతో ఒక వంద మెట్లు ఎక్కువ ఎక్కేసాడు అనేయోచ్చు .. 

సమంతా .. ఇప్పుడున్న హీరోఇన్స్ తో పోల్చుకుంటే మంచి నటి .. అలాగే మంచి పాత్రలు ఆమెని వెతుక్కుంటూ రావటం ఆమె అదృష్టం .. మనం తరువాత బెస్ట్ రోల్ ఇది తనకి .. అనుపమ పరమేశ్వరన్ చాలా చిన్న పాత్ర . నదియా అత్తారింటికి దారేది రిపీట్ చేసింది .. 

రావు రమేష్ గారు సినిమా సినిమాకి ఓ కొత్త కోణం చూపిస్తూనే ఉన్నారు .. నరేష్ గారికి కలిసొచ్చిన రోల్ ( బార్య చాటు భర్త ) ..కామెడీ కి రెగ్యులర్ కమెడియన్స్ ని కాకుండా కథలో పాత్రలు ప్రదీప్, శ్రీనివాస్ అవసరాల , పోసాని, సన, శ్రీనివాస రావు  తో చక్కగా లాగించేసారు ..

ఏదో కొరియా నుంచో ఫ్రెంచ్ నించో కాకుండా మన పాత సినిమా రీమేక్ హక్కులు కొని చక్కగా కొత్త రంగులు అద్ది ఇప్పటి ప్రేక్షకులతో చప్పట్లు కొట్టించడం చాల గొప్ప విషయం .. ఎందుకంటే ఎంత తవ్విన తరగనంత గొప్ప కథలు మనకెన్నో ఉన్నాయి .. మధ్య మధ్య లో సాగ తీటా గా రవ్వంత చాదస్తం చూపించినా .. ఎన్నో డైలాగు చమ్మక్కులు .. ఇప్పటికే బాగా పాపులర్ అయిన " వాచ్ ఉన్న ప్రతి ఓడు టైం ఒస్తుంది అనుకుంటాడు కాని జస్ట్ టైం తలుస్తుంది " " మీరు పులి సార్ కాని పులిహొర లో పులి " ఇలా చాల ఉన్నాయ్ .. చివర నితిన్ చెప్పే నాలుగు ముక్కలు సూపర్ .. 

మిక్కి జె మేయర్ అందించిన బెస్ట్ ఆల్బమ్స్ లో అ ఆ ఎప్పటికి ఉంటుంది "యా యా /గోపాల గోపాల " అండ్ " ఎల్లిపోకే శ్యామల" ఎవర్గ్రీన్ పాటలు అయిపోతాయి .. నటరాజన్ సుబ్రమణ్యన్ కెమెరా పల్లె అందాలని కనువిందుగా చూపించాయి 

ఫైనల్ గా 

ఒకప్పటి కథే .. కొంచెం కొంచెం లాగ్ ఉన్నపటికీ చాల చోట్ల నవ్విస్తూ .. చివరికి మెప్పించే .. టైం పాస్ చేసే సినిమా అ ఆ ..

Brahmotsavam Movie Review

Superstar Maheshbabu first time with three heroines.. Successful combination of the director Srikanth Addala and the prestigious PVP banner producing it .. And tons of star cast, can there be a better package for this summer, and that's called true "Brahmotsavam"

Just the Plot: Sathyaraj believes in togetherness and lives jointly with his wife Revathi’s four brothers. Eldest of them Rao Ramesh can’t tolerate his brother-in-law’s authority. And thus arises the tiff. How this is being resolved at the end forms the crux of the film…

Maheshbabu…the time has stopped counting his age and he looks fresher and fresher by each film.. And thus no surprise as the three heroines in film crave for him. Thankfully Mahesh has given ample time for romance in this movie and every such scene is lovable… And then his attachment with his father is so touching that makes the interval scene spellbound. And the Climax entirely rests on Mahesh’s shoulder and I somehow liked the little cute dance moves in “Bala tripuramani”

Kajal is given the first half and she like old wine is so hot and shares nice chemistry with Mahesh. Liked the dialogues she has especially when taking leave from Mahesh.. Samantha comes in later half and snatches well the second part of the film … Mahesh and Samantha make a made for each other pair and their ease in comedy timing proves that . Thus Pranitha is swallowed by these two girls.. but she makes her presence felt with few lines she is given .

Sathyaraj steps into Prakashraj’s shoes this time and we know how great an actor he is…So easily dons the proceedings in the first half. Rao Ramesh’s role is like sequel to what he is done in previous Addala films and he is brilliant as the only bad among so many good people in the film (Rao gopala rao's animation is clever inclusion). Revathi and Jayasudha have given their best in competing roles. There exists several stars like Naresh,shiyaji shinde, Sudhakar and Saranya to name few.

Galore of Celebrations …

Last decade we had “Hum aapke hain kaun” or our “PelliSandadi” where there are lot of songs including all star cast and everyone dancing around.. First half gives that feel.. Mahesh-Kajal romance and this festivity fills up the screen with no air to flow in between and first half sails so smoothly. Rao Ramesh spills out audience mind at this juncture questioning the need for this excessive celebrations and then comes the break!!

Second half goes in little unstitched way when Mahesh tries to search his roots in different places in North India. Samantha’s presence here and Vennela Kishore’s comedy gives way to some sweet moments in this half. I felt Interval the best than the climax.

Overdose of “Manchitanam”

Who does not like that mouthwatering dessert that is served at the end of the dinner.. But what if only dessert is served all over the plate… there is such kind of feel we get while watching “Brahmotsavam” where excess of goodness and lot of “Manchi maata” are uttered every two minutes…

Good things are always good to have and everything about the family bonding is definitely need of the hour. Nice to know that details of our 7 generations stored in Kashi and to know about Lord Balaji and Lakshmidevi’s parents.

Mickey J Meyers songs are good though they were little abundant in first half. Thota tharani’s grandeur settings and Rathnavelu’s camera makes every frame so colorful and rich.

Finally…

It’s kind of mixed bag feeling at the end… where I received excess of goodness which gets preachy at times and half-baked second part. But there are lot to love about the beautiful love scenes and few heart touching moments and the brilliant casting and visuals..

24 Movie Review

Surya is one hero who have tons of guts to experiment and this director Vikram Kumar, a creative genius who has given awesome movies like “13B” “Ishq” and “Manam” in different genres. So this combination has caused super curiosity from the inception of “24” . Surya himself produced this magnanimous venture..

Plot: Sivakumar a scientist invents a watch that can help in time travel. His greedy brother Athreya kills him for that watch.. but misses the watch and Sivakumar’s baby boy Mani.. It all shifts to 26 years and what wonders that watch will do later on.. Should be watched definitely on Big screen..

Surya..Surya..Surya..

Yes Surya has done triple roles and brings perfection to each role.. Though Sivakumar is limited and Mani is regular stuff Surya did many a times.. It is Athreya that stuns everyone.. We believe in that there are really 3 different actors on screen and such is the dedication this actor has put into those characters.. “Athreya” is his best after “Ghajini”. Director Vikram made sure that best of scenes are created for Athreya.

Vikram has brought heroines of two past hit films to play in this film.. Nithya menon has small role.. but she is best choice for it. Samantha is gorgeous like every time.. and we are going to see her almost every weekend in the May..Surya ..Samantha share superb chemistry on-screen.

Saranya is at ease for the role of mother who raises Surya.. Girish Karnad is also present. Ajay gets meaty role as “Mithra” .. this combination too is good after “Ishq”

Time Travel.. Back and Forth..

If someone sees the story on paper.. it might seem not believable.. But it is Vikram who can serve the toughest of screenplays into very neat and perfect screenplay.. He takes care and shows minutest of things from how the Hero gets the key to open the Watch and how he cleverly uses it for his love track..

Interval scene is one of the extremely brilliant ones in cinema.. Though there is little fun missing in later part .. Film is tightly gripped and brings to time travelled Climax that ends in good way..

So once again we have to salute Vikram for presenting us different movie experiences..

AR Rehman’s background score artfully sinks into the films soul . He should have given more memorable and catchy numbers. Tirru has given eye catching cinematography.. Prawin Pudi editing is unmatchable for this kind of concept.. Only slight drawback is few prolonged scenes because back and forth.. and that doesn’t harm much if are already in love with what you see on the screen..

Final Say..

The combination of this genius Vikram Kumar and gutsy Surya lives up to more than the expectations and delivers a must watchable movie..

Sardaar Gabbar Singh Movie review

It is Telugu new year UGADI for all of us and much more bigger festival for fans of Pawan Kalyan as the Power Star’s “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” releases with lots of hopes and anticipation.. Director Bobby who earlier directed “Power” has directed Powerstar this time.. Eros produces the film along with Sharath marrar.. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead.

Plot: If you have seen the trailer you have seen it all.. Rattanpur and its surroundings are under clutches of cruel Bhirav Singh(Sharad Kelkar) who grabs all the fertile land for mining . It is then our Sardaar gabbar singh arrives as CI to the town.. So you have to watch on Big screen how Gabbar singh helps the villagers and wins the heart of the princess Arshi (Kajal).

One man show of Sardaar..

Pawan kalyan wants to continue the tradition of Gabbar singh like that of James Bond. He himself has provided the Story and Screenplay. Pawan Kalyan as an actor has given more than double what his fans are waiting to see on screen… There are good number of action sequences … He is cool and fresh in romantic scenes with Kajal .. there are not many one liners like in the first part but this time he tried good dance movements and he even imitated his brother the Megastar chiru with very famous Veena step from Indra.. It is completely mass oriented subject and so it is entirely on his shoulders and he is at his usual best..

Kajal for the first time shares screen with Pawan Kalyan and she is gorgeous as princess. She is also big plus for the film.

Sharad Kelkar plays the man villain Bhirav Singh. He acted in lot of hindi serials and recently dubbed for Prabhas for Baahubali(hindi). His voice is his biggest asset and he plays his part well.

Ali is seen as Samba. Mukesh Rishi, Brahmaji , Tanikella Bharani,Krishna Bhagawan, Rao Ramesh, urvashi etc play crucial roles.. Brahmanandam role is good this time.  Laxmi Raai does item. Kabir as sidekick and Sanjana as villian’s wife are wasted.

Good first half..

The plot and premise are neatly set up and the way Gabbar Singh enters the Rattanpur.. his meeting with the Kajal .. And the way the Hero jovially takes charge and brings the things into his control and his bigger tiff with the villain at the interval.. All summed up makes promising first half..

Graph comes down towards the routine climax

It’s after 30 mins after the interval break.. Everything that ran smoothly till then starts rushing up and at the same time becomes repetitive… one mass song “Khakee Chokka” is badly pictured in foreign locales. While Pawan dancing for chirus Song is good but the entire wrapper of that Sangeet dance competition is badly choreographed.  It is poor follow up for the brilliant Gabbar singh’s Anthakshari episode.  And Climax turns out be routine shooting fare.

Other departments…

DSP music is not up to the mark of the first Gabbar Singh. But “O Pilla Subhanalla…” and “Tauba Tauba” stands out musically and on screen .. Nee chepakallu comes next.. Arthur Wilson provides rich visuals. Director Bobby handles the introduction scenes and elevation scenes well but not conclude it safely.

Purely for Pawan Kalyan..

 After having the bad experience with Jhonny.. Pawan kalyan did not experiment much and tried out the time tested plot with needed commercial ingredients. He has done his best in giving what his fans are waiting for… Flaws are seen in second half due to rushed up shooting which happened mostly towards the end. Pawan Kalyan.. Romantic track… Definitely a bunch of good scenes and a decent first half collectively make it an ok watch.  Now it all depends on Power Star’s stamina to keep the collections ringing ….

OOPIRI Movie Review

“King” Nagarjuna was never afraid of experimenting…he acted as Cancer patient in Geetanjali which became a classic.. He acted as “Annamayya” after immense success of “nine pelladatha”.. He being a romantic hero did Gaganam with no duets.. He played the ghost in his last film “Soggade..”.

And now in his latest outing OOPIRI ( TAMIL - THOZA) , Nagarjuna does quadriplegic(one affected with paralysis of both arms and both legs).. I get this definition in google but nagarjuna believed that he will be accepted whenever he gave us novelty.. So that is Yuvasamrat for us.. Vamsi paidipally directs it. Karthi plays important role in this “intouchables” adaptation..

Plot: Vikramaditya,a multi millionare’s life turns upside down with an accident and now he needs support not just to serve him but someone through whom he can experience the life. Then comes Srinu(Karthi) who does petty thefts and is released from jail on parole.. And Oopiri is just a pleasant journey of two individuals who present the life to each other in different way altogether..

Stars..

Nagarjuna’s presence itself makes a huge difference here.. not even a single moment you feel that he is just acting there for a while in chair..but you feel his pain throughout and take the character with you.. With such an open mind.. I think there’s no limit for his adventures and he keeps getting the success..

Karthi is perfect suit for the role.. He just like that slips into the skin of Srinu. He makes us laugh throughout with such a sweet innocence and brings tears equally. May be Jr NTR would have done equally good but somehow this role might not suit him in Telugu.. and Karthi made everyone feel home and one could not imagine any other actor in that role..

Tamanna though is seen in most of the film .. She is limited by her role and is gorgeous as usual. Her duet with Karthi is good..

Prakashraj plays Nagarjuna’s friend is without saying is nice support.. Jayasudha plays Karthi’s mother..

Nora fatehi of Baahubali fame does an item number and south african model Gabriella does a guest role.We have pleasant cameos from two heroines whose names you can easily guess ..:)

It’s Pure emotional journey…

Best thing about the movie is a very simple .. pure.. lovable journey of two central characters .. there's no deviation .. there’s no disturbance. It’s about how these individuals help each other without being asked for it. It’s about how these two overcome their fears and get to know what they seek in life.. One should appreciate Vamsi Paidipalli for bringing such honest attempt and gut fully believing in what it is to convey the journey. He takes it very slowly and brings the emotion of the characters to the core.

Gopi Sunder’s pleasant music syncs deep into the film . “ eppudu okalaa undadu…” “ nuvvemichaavo ..” both songs written by sirevennela garu tells the depth in proceedings . PS vinod has given splendid visuals and Paris in second half gives lot of energy. PVP choice of making this film and the grandeur sprinkled allover is appreciable.

Now what might be wrong..

As said .. the same pleasant journey might sound disturbing when we expect lot of twists and loudness . So the acceptance of this simplicity is the key for success…

KRISHNA GAADI VEERA PREMA GAADHA REVIEW

నాని అంటే సాదారణమైన మన పక్కింటి అబ్బాయి ల కనిపించే అసాధారణ నటుడు .. నాని సినిమాలంటే వినోదం తో నిండిని వైవిధ్యభరితాలు .. అందుకే కొన్ని ఎదురు దెబ్బలు తగిలినా తెగువ తో తిరిగి నిలబడ్డాడు నాని .. అతని సినిమా బాగుంది అని చెవిన పడితే .. ఎంతో ఇష్టంగా థియేటర్లకు పరిగెత్తే అభిమానుల్ని సంపాదించుకున్నాడు .. 

ఎన్నో భారి సినిమాలు తీసిన 14 రీల్స్ నిర్మించిన, అందాల రాక్షసి దర్శకుడు హను రాఘవపుడి "కృష్ణ గాడి వీర ప్రేమ గాధ " నాని ఖాతాలో హాట్రిక్ హిట్టు ఎలా ఇచ్చిందో ఓ నాలుగు మాటల్లో ... 

జస్ట్ ది ప్లాట్  .. 

స్వతహాగా కొంచెం భయస్తుడైన మన కృష్ణ గాడు .. ఫ్యాక్షన్ కుటుంబానికి చెందిన మహాలక్ష్మి ప్రాణానికి ప్రాణంగా ప్రేమించుకుంటారు . తన ప్రేమ విషయం మహాలక్ష్మి అన్నయ్య కి చెప్పాలంటే చచ్చేంత భయం .. చెప్పకపోతే మహాలక్ష్మి చచ్చిపోతుందేమో అనే భయం ..  

మరి చుట్టూ ఉన్న పరిస్థితులు కృష్ణ గాడి ప్రేమని గెలిపించి ఎలా వీరుడి గా నిలిపాయో తెలియాలంటే .. ఎం చేయాలో మనకి తెలిసిందే .. 

బోలెడంత మంది .. అందరూ భ్రమ్మాండం .. 

హీరోయిన్ తో ఏకాంతంలో అమర ప్రేమికుడు .. మరు నిమిషం వాళ్ళ అన్నయ్య కనిపిస్తే పరమ పిరికితనం .. స్నేహితుడిని ఆట పట్టించి నవ్విస్తాడు .. ఇక పిల్లలతో మమేకమై వారిని ఆదుకుంటాడు .. ఇలా ఇన్ని షేడ్స్ లో మెప్పిచిన మన నానికి చేతులు అరిగేలా చప్పట్లు కొట్టినా తప్పు లెదు. 

మేహ్రీన్ కొత్తమ్మాయి బాగుంది .. ఎన్నో సీన్స్ లో కాజల్ ని గుర్తు చేస్తుంది .. తన పాత్రని మెప్పించేలా చేసింది ..

 హీరోయిన్ అన్నయ్య పాత్రదారి బాగా చేసాడు  .. సంపత్ రాజ్ ఈసారి పాజిటివ్ టచ్ ఉన్నముఖ్యమైన పాత్ర దక్కింది  .. మురళి శర్మ తీవ్రవాదిగా ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు .. ( నాని కి ఇప్పుడు లక్కీ కాంబినేషన్) . 

హీరో ఫ్రెండ్ గా సత్యం రాజేష్ ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ నవ్వించాడు .. SI జమదగ్ని గా మాంచి ఫాం లో ఉన్న పృథ్వీ చెలరేగిపోయాడు ..భ్రమ్మాజికి మరో భలే రోల్ పడింది .. ప్రభాస్ శీను కామెడీ కూడా బాగుంది .. అన్నపూర్ణ గార్ని మన దర్శకులు ఇంకా ఎక్కువ చిత్రాల్లో తీస్కోవాలి .. 

మరీ ముఖ్యమైన వాళ్ళు ముగ్గురు పిల్లలు .. చుట్కి .. చోటా భీమ .. అండ్ ముద్దొచ్చే చిన్నారి పెళ్లి కూతురు .. బుజ్జి బొమ్మ జెస్సి .. వీళ్ళు సెకండ్ హాఫ్ ని క్యూట్ హాఫ్ చేసారు !!

"జై బాలయ్య" టాటూ తో బాలయ్య బాబుని కూడా ఈ సినిమాలో ఓ మంచి పాత్రగా మలిచారు 

హాట్స్ ఆఫ్ హనురఘవపుడి .. 

మొదటి సగం హీరో హీరోయిన్ ప్రేమ సన్నివేశాలు మెప్పిస్తాయి.. నవ్విస్తాయి  . వాళ్ళు ఎలా అయినా కలవాలి అని మనం అనుకునేలా చేస్తాయి .. సందులో సడేమియ్యగా రెండో సగానికి కావాల్సిన ఒక్కో పాత్ర పరిచయాలు అయిపోతాయి .. ఇది ఓ రాయలసీమ లో ఫ్యాక్షన్ నేపధ్యం లో ప్రేమ కథ అనిపిస్తుంది ఈ సగం చూస్తె 

ఇక రెండో సగం అనుకోని మలుపులతో పిల్లలతో పాటు మనం హైవే ఎక్కేస్తాం .. ఓ పక్క తీవ్రవాది - SI జమదగ్ని ట్రాక్ .. బ్రహ్మాజీ ట్రాక్ .. పిల్లలతో నాని .. విలన్ గ్యాంగ్ ట్రాక్ .. ఇలా ఇవ్వన్ని సమాంతరంగా నడుస్తూనే సినిమా ని ఆసక్తికరంగా ముందుకు నడిపిస్తాయి .. 

ఏదో ఒక చిన్న కథని కేవలం ట్రీట్మెంట్ తో రెండు గంటలు పైన లాగేసే సినిమాలు ఎక్కువ చూస్తాం మనం .. కాని ఈ దర్శకుడు ప్రతి పాత్రని బుర్రలోకి ఎక్కించి దాదాపు రెండు సినిమాలు చూపించాడు ఒక్క టికెట్టు మీద .. ఇన్ని పాత్రల్ని చాలా పకడ్బంది స్క్రీన్ప్లే తో నడిపించినందుకు హాట్స్ అఫ్ చెప్పాల్సిందే హను కి .. 

ఇదే ఈ సినిమాకి రవ్వంత  వీక్ నెస్ కూడా .. 

సినిమా నిడివి రెండున్నర గంటలే ఉన్నా ఇన్ని గుర్తుంచుకునే పాత్రలు ..ఉప కథలు ఉండేసరికి ఈ సినిమా ఏంటి ఇంత పెద్దగా ఉంది అనే ఫీలింగ్ ఒస్తుంది .. 

సంగీతం .. ఫోటోగ్రఫీ .. నిర్మాతలు .. మూల స్తంబాలు 

విశాల్ చంద్ర శేఖర్ పాటలు స్క్రీన్ మీద ఇంకా బాగున్నాయి .. ఫస్ట్ ఫ్రేమ్ నుంచి లాస్ట్ ఫ్రేమ్ దాక యువరాజ్ కెమెరా పనితనం సూపర్బ్ . ఇంత మంచి సినిమా తెర మీదకి రావాలంటే అది 14 రీల్స్ అభిరుచే . 

చెప్పానా .. చెప్పానా .. అంతా చెప్పానా ... 

లేదు .. ఫైనల్ గా ఈ ముక్క చెప్పి రేటింగ్ ఇవ్వాలి కదా .. మంచి సినిమాలు ఇష్టపడేవారు తప్పకుండా చూసే సినిమా ఈ " కృష్ణ గాడి వీర ప్రేమ గాధ "

Naannaku prematho Review

మాస్ హీరో .. క్లాస్ డైరెక్టర్ .. ఇలాంటి కాంబినేషన్ ఎప్పుడు ఆసక్తి కలిగించేదే .. NTR- సుకుమార్ కలయిక .. టైటిల్ " నాన్నకు ప్రేమతో ".. ఈ సంక్రాంతికి ఎక్కువ మంది "ప్రేమతో " ఎదురు చూసింది ఈ నాన్న గారి సినిమా కోసమే .. 

కథ :  ఇంకా 30 రోజుల్లో చనిపోతాడని తెలుసుకున్న రమేష్ చంద్ర(రాజేంద్ర) ప్రసాద్ తన ముగ్గురి కొడుకుల్ని పిలిచి , తనని అత్యంత దారుణంగా మోసం చేసి రోడ్డుక్కీడ్చిన కృష్ణమూర్తి కౌటిల్య(జగపతి బాబు) పతనమే తన ఆఖరి కోరిక అని చెబుతాడు . చిన్నవాడైన అభిరామ్(NTR ) లక్ష్యం ఇప్పుడు 35000 కోట్ల అధిపతి అయిన కృష్ణమూర్తి ఆస్తిని "సున్నా" చెయ్యటమే .. సుకుమార్ లెక్క ప్రకారం ఒక్కో సెకండ్ కి 10 కోట్లు .. సో ఇంత అసాధ్యమైన టార్గెట్ మన ఎన్టివోడు ఎలా? హౌ?? కైసే?? .. ఈ సందేహాల తీరాలంటే మీరు సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే .. 

ఎవరికీ వారే తెలివయిన వారే ..!!

కెరీర్ మొదట్లోనే మాస్ కి బాబు లాంటి సినిమాలు తీసిన NTR గత రెండు సినిమాలు ఎంతో ఆచితూచి అడుగులు వేసాడు అనిపిస్తుంది .. "1" తరువాత సుకుమార్ తో ధైర్యంగా ముందుకేల్లడంతోనే మనోడు విజయం సాదించేసాడు. వెరైటీ గడ్డం లుక్  తో తనలోని మాస్ ని పూర్తి గా అదుపు లో ఉంచుకుని అతి తెలివైన సుకు"మార్కు" హీరో గా ఒదిగిపోయాడు .. జగపతి బాబు ఎదురుగా ఉన్నప్పుడు ఠీవిగా రాకుల్ తో తెలివిగా .. నాన్న తో ప్రేమ గా ఇలా అన్ని వేరియేషన్స్ కలబోసాడు .. డాన్సుల్లో గ్రేస్ అదుర్స్ .. NTR కలకాలం గుర్తుంచుకొనే సినిమా "నాన్నకి .." ఇంకా క్రిష్ అండ్ త్రివిక్రమ్ సినిమాలు కూడా చేస్తే బాగుండు 

జగపతిబాబు .. ఇతను అంతకు ముందు హీరో గా చేసారనే విషయం మర్చిపోతామేమో విలన్ గా ఇలా ఒకదాన్ని మించి ఇంకోటి దున్నేస్తుంటే . హీరోయిజం బయటపడాలంటే విలన్ పవర్ఫుల్ ఉండాలి .. సో ఎన్టీఆర్ కి వచ్చే పేరు లో 50 శాతం జగపతి స్టైలిష్ నటనదే . 

రకుల్ .. డబ్బింగ్ తొలిసారి ఎంత బాగా చెప్పిందో .. అంత కంటే ఎంత బాగా చేసిందో .. అంత కు మించి అందంగా ఉంది . కేవలం పాటలకే కాకుండా హీరోయిన్ కి రవ్వంత తెలివితేటలు ఉండొచ్చు అని చూపించింది . 

రాజేంద్ర ప్రసాద్ మంచానికి అత్తుక్కుపోయినా ఈ కథకి సూత్రధారి ఆయనే కదా ! మనకి పిల్లలు ఉన్నప్పుడు మన తండ్రి విలువ తెలిసొస్తుంది అని చెప్పే సీన్ లో రాజీవ్కనకాల బాగా చేసాడు .. శ్రీనివాస్ అవసరాల అవసరం లేకుండా పోయింది . 

హీరో గ్యాంగ్ లో తాగుబోతు రమేష్ సహా మిగతా ఇద్దరు హుషారుగా ఉన్నారు . 

మధు బాల ఎంట్రీ సీన్ బాగుంది . 

తెలివయిన వాడికంటే తెలివయన వాడు మన సుక్కు .. 

టీ కప్పు ని ఒక వైపు తిప్పితే .. ఓ ఫోటో ఫ్లాష్ వల్ల .. ఓ బాస్కెట్ వల్ల .. ఓ కాఫీ ఒలికి ఓ ముద్దు పుడుతుందా .. హీరోయిన్ షూ ఒక 45 డిగ్రీ ఆంగిల్ లో పెడితే మన చేతులకి మసి అంటకుండా ఓ అరడజను రౌడిలని కుమ్మేయోచ్చు . ఇలా బట్టర్ ఫ్లై థియరీ తో ఒక సంఘటణ నుంచి మరోకటికి అనుసందానించిన విధానం బాగుంది . హీరో హీరోయిన్ ప్రేమ .. హీరో విలన్ మధ్య గేమ్ .. ఈ రెండు ట్రాక్స్ దేనికవే అనిపించేలా ఆకట్టు కున్నాయి . 

ఒకటి అరా లోజిక్కులు చిరాకు(అత్యంత ధనవంతుడి కూతురికి, ఇంటికి  సెక్యూరిటీ లేకపోవటం ) పుట్టించినా .. విలన్ తో ఆడిన గేమ్ చుట్టూ మరో అసలు గేమ్ ప్లే చెయ్యటం బాగుంది .. ఈ తెలివి తేటలు etc హీరో-విలన్-హీరోయిన్ మధ్య మాత్రమె.    1 లో ఉన్నంత  కన్ఫ్యూషన్ ఇక్కడ లేదు... ఎందుకంటే "నాన్న మీద ప్రేమ " కోసం ఇదంతా అనే విషయం సామాన్య ప్రేక్షకుడిని ఆసక్తి లో ముంచి కట్టి పడేస్తుంది ..  

ఓ మాస్ హీరో సినిమా అనగానే ఆ హీరో కోసం సుమోలు గట్రా ఎగరేయకుండా ..ప్రేమని పగని అంతర్లీనంగా చూపిస్తూ తనదైన శైలి లో హీరోనే మలుచుకుని మెప్పించాడు సుకుమార్ .. హాట్స్ఆఫ్ .. 

దేవిశ్రీ ప్రసాద్ & విజయ్ చక్రవర్తి 

"I wanna follow follow " అంటూ తన పాటలలోనే వన్ అఫ్ ది బెస్ట్ సాంగ్ ఇచ్చాడు దేవి . తన తండ్రి మరణించిన సమయంలో కూడా అత్యుత్తమమైన అవుట్ పుట్ ఇచ్చాడు . " నా మనసు నీలో " కూడా బాగా నచ్చింది . టైటిల్స్ నుంచి ఎండ్ వరకు ప్రతి సీన్ రిచ్ గా పెద్ద తేరా మీదే చూడాలి అనేంత లా ఉంది గ్రేట్ వర్క్ సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్ విజయ్ చక్రవర్తి . 

చివరిగా ..

మనం ఊహించిన దానికంటే మిన్నగా సుకు"మార్కు"  ఎన్టీఆర్ సూపర్ గా ఉన్నాడు .. లోపాలు కొన్ని ఉన్నా బిగ్ స్క్రీన్ మీద ఆ రిచ్నెస్ .. కాన్సెప్ట్ లో వెరైటీ .. కథనం లో పగడ్బంది "నాన్నకు ప్రేమతో " ని వావ్ అనిపించేలా చేస్తాయి .

Soggade Chinni Nayana movie Review

Soggade Chinni Nayana is the final movie that released as the part of this Festival Fiesta. King Nagarjuna who always chooses safer December, dares to compete during this Sankranthi rush. Movie is directed by new comer Kalyan Krishna.

Plot: Ramu(Nagarjuna) and Sita(Lavanya Tripati) return from US as they plan to put an end to their straining relationship by taking divorce. This is when Yama Dharma Raju sends the spirit of Bangarraju to save the marriage of his son. But what is the real motto behind the arrival of the Bangarraju forms the crux of the film.

Father of two young heroes.. Yuvasamrat still has the splendid charm. He brings the great variation between energetic Bangarraju and his shy son. Seems the Manmadhudu had best time flaunting with lots of ladies.

Ramya Krishna gets much bigger role than the heroine and has got more song count too thanks to Bangarraju.Lavanya Tripati tries hard to shine among many women seen all around in many frames.Hamsa Nandini and Anasuya sizzles.Anushka is pleasant surprise..!!

Nazar is adequate.  Brahmanandam is just fine. Nagababu impresses as Yama Dharma Raju.

Flow..

Starting scene about the Siva temple created enough curiosity to begin with. Director had very thin plot and so he focuses more on Son’s troubled marriage. To spice it up, the director brings in the item girls. This episode is little stretched and sometimes even marriage counselling happens.

It all takes later part of the second half to get the momentum and to have some serious stuff to pitch in to the conspiracy to kill the Ramu and how Bangarraju fights back.

Anoop Rubens has given decent background score and nice melodious songs. Looks Nagarjuna has cleverly completed the film in low cost. PS Vinod nicely captures the rural charm, a rarity in recent movies.

Finally..

Though Predictable and little elastic, Soggadu still makes a pleasant watch thanks to the genuine performance of two Nagarjuna’s and few funny moments and some family bonding and slight fantasy touch. If audience are seeking simple time pass rather than heavy action and clever plots, this might be a safe bet.

Dictator Movie review

Sankranthi 2016 is more packed than ever with 4 movies this time .. and inevitable clash between Nandamuri heroes. Senior hero Balakrishna garu has got several hits for Sankranthi .. So he is trying his luck again this Pongal with “Dictator” .

Plot : Chandu works in Super market and stays at in-laws home and leads a calm life. Trouble starts as Sonal chouhan( who aspires to become heroine ) enters his life . Chandu has to reveal his other side as Dictator ChandraSekhar Dharma and his wife Kaatyayani(Anjali).

Actors:

BalaKrishna plays two shades .. very subtle in first half and becoming furious as and when needed. Second half has him in classy Dictator avatar, a fresh role for him. He leaves no opportunity to utter thought provoking sayings on several topics like movie industry, Vaastu etc. And there are plenty of one liner punches all over. But he manages to dance decently inspite of his age. It is action sequences, where he still did not lose his charm and scores brownie points.

Anjali has got nice role and she performs well. Not as powerful as his hit movie heroines like nayanatara.. but is adequate. Sonal Chauhan too got decent role and aptly fills the first half.

Plenty of villians.. each does their part well.

30 years Industry Pruthvi along with Hema etc takes care of comedy and brings in few laughs . Posani is good.

Rati Agnihotri is not as powerful. Mumaith Khan and Shraddhadas sizzles in item Song.

Other Departments:
Thaman songs are fine.. Chura Chura and Tingo Tingo are good. I thought Item number should have been in second half.

Srivass does an ok job.

It’s very tough to handle Balakrishna . Srivass has taken sufficient care as to have no mockery. First half goes on smoothly with some murder chase- heroine in trouble – hero rescues her. Pruthvi-Hema comedy works fine. And finally interval gives grand introduction to Dictator.

Second half is neat and fast paced. Anjali’s love track is decent and entertaining . Family emotions are brought out well. though very few challenging scenes with Rati Agnihotri are good. I liked the Delhi background and the Mill episode, Lucky dip episode came out really good

What’s missing…

For balakrishna’s movie to be blockbuster, it should have powerful flashback and strong villain and Dictator falls flat there.. There is nothing that can’t be predicted and is seen in much better way in Balayya’s earlier movies. Luckily there is no Kona style comedy and no dragging.

Only for festival mood..

Dictator will not make it as big as Legend or Simha.. But offers lot better then the movies like Lion etc. So it stays somewhere in between and commands viewer ship among masses in festival mood.
